Department Description
Adults with hematologic and oncologic illness, including solid tumors, malignancies, and terminal illness. We offer a variety of therapeutic interventions, from chemotherapy to palliative care services.
Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager provides support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units. Facilitates efficient patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance and overall environment of care. Provides reception type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
Education And Experience
- Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Three to six months previous related experience
- Preferred customer service, retail, clerical experience
