Description

CRNA Needed at Central Austin, TX Specialty Hospital. Seeking experienced providers. Cardiac orientation provided upon full-time employment! Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs and 1 EP lab in specialty adult 72 bed facility. Surgeons are exceptionally friendly & caring with great outcomes. There is professional autonomy, including lines, within team model in an award-winning hospital; also, there are close, collaborative working relationships and access to high acuity cases outside academics.

Help will always be available. 9 CRNAs, 4 MDs on staff.

Total Rewards
Salary: Based on years of experience: $200-245K base
Sign on Incentive: $50K

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: No call, weekends, holidays “Peel” staffing system results in some shorter, some longer days (rare overtime)
Open hearts, electrophysiology lab, endovascular, NORA, and general surgery.
No OB, peds, or neuro.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Heart Hospital of Austin, $200-245K, Full-Time CRNA
