Head Security

The Head Security is responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety of guests, employees, contractors, and company assets. This position enforces company policies, coordinates emergency response procedures, and maintains a secure, welcoming environment that reflects the standards of a high-end restaurant and bar.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of all security personnel.
• Develop work schedules and assign security coverage to ensure all areas of the premises are adequately monitored.
• Ensure guests are welcomed professionally while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control procedures where applicable.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security or safety risks.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, accidents, disturbances, and suspicious activities, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Prepare detailed incident, accident, and security reports and maintain accurate records.
• Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety regulations, fire safety procedures, and emergency evacuation plans.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel to maintain high professional standards.
• Support management during special events, VIP functions, and high-traffic periods.

Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in security operations, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory position.
• Certification or formal training in Security Management is an asset.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures, conflict management, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Strong decision-making, observational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Reporting Relationship

• Reports directly to the Restaurant Manager
