We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating press brakes, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities And Duties

- Set up press brake machines by selecting and installing appropriate tooling, adjusting settings, and programming controls according to job specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine setup procedures and machining sequences.
- Operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets and plates to meet precise tolerances and quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on press brake machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Troubleshoot issues with machine operation and take corrective action to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with team members, including machine operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient production and timely completion of orders.
- Document production activities, including machine setup, run times, and quantities produced, accurately and legibly.
