đź©·About us
PLG Group connects people with culture. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia we run Ticketportal (since 2002), GoOut (since 2011) and Ticketstream (since 2001). Across the group we operate in seven European countries with brands such as Piletilevi and Biletomat.
Every year we sell more than 15 million tickets, from small club nights to the biggest festivals, theatres and stadiums.
Our culture is open, creative and direct, with no bullshit.
Our product organization is centralized across all markets. We are building one ticketing platform for the whole group, and AI is part of how we build it: specs are our source of truth, and agents help us go from spec to shipped code.
đź’šYour role
We are changing how product works at PLG. Instead of product managers who run backlogs and hand off specs, we are building a team of Product Builders: people who own a problem end to end, prototype with AI, write the specs our engineers and agents build from, and stay until it works in production.
We need a leader for that team who is a builder first. You will set the direction, hire and coach the builders, and raise the bar for what good looks like. You will also keep building yourself. You lead by example, not by status meetings. If the last time you prototyped something or queried data yourself was years ago, this role is not for you.
You report to the VP of Product and work closely with engineering, the platform team in Poland and business teams in all our markets.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and grow a team of Product Builders: hire, coach, give honest feedback, and let go of what does not work
- Set the product strategy and goals for your area and turn them into a clear plan the team owns
- Stay hands-on: prototype with AI tools, write specs, dig into code and data, and own at least one initiative yourself
- Define how we build: our spec-driven, AI-agentic process from idea to production, the quality bar for specs, and how builders work with engineering
- Make the hard calls on scope and priorities, and explain them clearly to stakeholders across markets
- Measure what matters and hold the team, and yourself, to outcomes, not output
- Be the person builders want to learn from
What you bring:
- 8+ years building software products, with at least 3 years leading product people
- A track record of products you and your team shipped, with measurable business results
- You still build: you prototype, analyse and automate with AI every day (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable or similar) and can show us real examples
- Technical depth: you can read code, discuss architecture with engineers, work with APIs and data, and write SQL
- You have hired strong people, developed them, and made tough people decisions when needed
- Experience with complex products: marketplaces, transactional or B2B systems, platforms used in several markets
- Clear writing and direct communication, in English and with senior stakeholders
- High standards and low ego: you care about the result more than about the title
