OT Occupational Therapist-Inpatient

Work Shift:

I. Position Summary:

Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription,

reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patient and documenting according to policy.

Qualifications

• A. Education & Training:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• B. Experience:
• One (1) year as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
• Current OT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho
• education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination
• Center of Excellence Policy. Must complete and maintain required stroke
• education/training as mandated in the “HHC Primary Stroke Center / Acute
• Stroke Ready Designation” policy.
• D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Utilizes a variety of therapy techniques to evaluate patients, establish a plan of
• care, and carry out effective treatments.
