Anesthesiologist opening with Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by rolling farmland and wooded forests. Part-time welcome! The Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is a same-day, multispecialty surgery center and the longest-serving facility of its type for the community. The center features two treatment rooms providing local/monitored anesthesia care, one operating room designed for procedures requiring general anesthesia, a preoperative area, and a post-anesthesia care area.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour). No call. No weekends.
• Pain management, orthopedic, general, dental/oral, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive, podiatry, and endoscopy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
