Human Resources Intern

About this role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong organizational skills, and has an interest in building a career in Human Resources. This is an onsite position located in Davis, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation activities.
• Assist with HR reporting and document management.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team.
• Participate in special HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous administrative, customer service, or internship experience is a plus.
