Your Impact

As a Line Cook you are integral to our customer experience. You know that even though Hippo Pockets focuses on fast-casual dining, service and quality food are key components of the customer experience and add to our atmosphere; an atmosphere felt with energy, heart, and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Cooking food to order, following the company's spec sheets
• Reading food tickets thoughtfully and paying close attention to modifications and any listed allergens
• Delivering food in goal ticket times
• Communicating effectively with other employees to complete orders
• Prepping ingredients
• Following safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assisting with daily temperature and line checks
• Consistently and effectively completing opening and closing tasks in a timely manner
• Assisting with stocking, organizing and cleaning food lines
