Job Description
The management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. The adoption and adaptation of project management methodologies based on the context of the project and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
Duties And
Responsibilities
- Maintain a standard approach for project management
- Start up and initiate project and manage stakeholder engagement
- Develop & maintain project plan, manage project resources/work packages
- Monitor & control projects and manage project quality & risks
- Close a project or iteration
- Develop detailed resource support/technical/operational specs & manuals
- Identify & develop required processes & procedures for resources
- Develop service & operational agreements for resources
- Gain service & operational agreements approval for resources
- Produce supporting documentation & training packages for resources
- Manage resource process & procedure implementation
- Manage resource operational staff training
- Develop resource Supplier/Partner Operational support
- Manage resource acceptance testing
- Manage resource capability delivery and ensure capability quality
- Configure, implement, activate resources
- Lead a functional team of project managers
