About the Role

Astroscale Japan (ASJP) is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to operate,

maintain, and improve the Linux, AWS, networking, virtualization, and on-premises systems

that support our business and mission environments.

Working as part of the ASJP IT team, you will administer AWS and on-premises

infrastructure, including VPCs, network connectivity, IAM, EC2 instances, storage, Linux

servers, and virtual machines. You will ensure system reliability, security, and performance

across all supported environments while collaborating with engineering and operations

teams.

Key Responsibilities

• The primary focus of this role is the configuration, modification, and optimization of on premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Linux & System Administration: Perform strong hands-on Linux administration,
• including installation, configuration, patching, package management, systemd services,
• scheduled tasks, process/resource monitoring, permissions, storage, networking, log
• analysis, and command-line troubleshooting.
• AWS Infrastructure Management: Administer AWS resources including EC2
• instances, VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, IAM roles and policies,
• CloudWatch monitoring, S3/EBS storage, and DNS configuration.
• Networking & Connectivity: Manage TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN
• configurations, firewall rules, switch configurations, and network troubleshooting across
• on-premises and cloud environments.
• Virtualization: Operate and maintain Proxmox VE clusters, including ZFS storage
• management, VM/LXC provisioning, high availability configuration, backups, and cluster
• health monitoring.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Maintain Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stacks for
• infrastructure health, define alert thresholds, create dashboards, and perform log
• analysis for proactive issue detection.
• Security & Patch Management: Implement automated patching, manage access
• controls, enforce security best practices, and coordinate vulnerability remediation
• across all systems.
• Backup & Recovery: Design, execute, and validate backup strategies for on-premises
• and cloud infrastructure, ensuring recovery objectives are met.
• Documentation & SOPs: Document architectures, standard operating procedures,
• runbooks, and maintenance schedules for all managed infrastructure.
• Incident Response: Coordinate incident response and root-cause analysis for
• infrastructure outages and performance issues.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with engineering, operations, and mission teams
• to provision, modify, and troubleshoot infrastructure supporting their workflows.
• Essential Qualifications & Experienc
• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in IT Engineering, Computer Science, or a
• related subject.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant IT infrastructure, system
• administration, or network engineering roles.
• Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (business level, written and
• verbal).
• Linux Expertise: Strong experience managing Linux estates, including building,
• deploying, software management, and reporting.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS storage
• services.
• Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and switch
• management.
• Virtualization: Practical experience with Proxmox VE or equivalent hypervisor

• Astroscale Japan（ASJP）では、事業運営およびミッション環境を支える Linux、AWS、ネットワーク、仮想化基盤、オンプレミスシステムの運用・保守・改善を担当する、経験豊富な ITインフラストラクチャスペシャリストを募集しています。
• ASJPのITチームの一員として、AWSおよびオンプレミスのインフラを管理していただきます。これには、VPC（仮想プライベートクラウド）、ネットワーク接続、IAM（アクセス管理）、EC2インスタンス、ストレージ、Linuxサーバー、仮想マシンなどが含まれます。
• また、エンジニアリングチームやオペレーションチームと連携しながら、サポート対象となるすべての環境において、システムの信頼性・セキュリティ・パフォーマンスを維持・向上させる役割を担います。
• 主な業務内容
• この職務の主な目的は、オンプレミス環境およびクラウド環境のインフラの設定、変更、最適化を行うことです。
• ■Linux・システム管理（Linux & System Administration）
• Linuxシステムの管理を実務レベルで担当します。具体的には、インストール、設定、パッチ適用、パッケージ管理、systemdサービス管理、定期実行タスクの設定、プロセスやリソースの監視、権限管理、ストレージ管理、ネットワーク管理、ログ解析、コマンドラインによるトラブルシューティングなどを行います。
• AWSインフラ管理（AWS Infrastructure Management）
• EC2インスタンス、VPC、サブネット、ルートテーブル、セキュリティグループ、IAMロールおよびポリシー、CloudWatchによる監視、S3/EBSストレージ、DNS設定などのAWSリソースを管理します。
• ■ネットワーク・接続管理（Networking & Connectivity）
• TCP/IPネットワーク、DNS、DHCP、VPN設定、ファイアウォールルール、スイッチ設定の管理に加え、オンプレミス環境とクラウド環境の両方におけるネットワークトラブルシューティングを担当します。
• ■仮想化基盤（Virtualization）
• Proxmox VEクラスターの運用・保守を行います。これには、ZFSストレージ管理、VM（仮想マシン）およびLXCコンテナの構築、高可用性（HA）構成の設定、バックアップ運用、クラスターの健全性監視が含まれます。
• ■監視・アラート運用（Monitoring & Alerting）

オンプレミス環境およびクラウド環境向けのバックアップ戦略を設計・実行・検証し、必要な復旧目標（Rpo/Rto）を満たせるようにします。

ドキュメント作成・標準運用手順（Documentation & SOPs）

管理対象インフラに関するアーキテクチャ図、標準運用手順（SOP）、運用手順書（Runbook）、保守スケジュールなどを文書化します。

■インシデント対応（Incident Response）

インフラ障害や性能問題が発生した際の対応を統括し、根本原因分析（Root Cause Analysis）を実施します。

■部門横断的なサポート（Cross-Functional Support）

エンジニアリングチーム、オペレーションチーム、ミッションチームと連携し、事業およびミッション達成に必要なインフラのサポートを提供します。

＜必須条件＞

・学歴（Education）

Itエンジニアリング、コンピュータサイエンス、または関連分野における学士号以上を有すること。

経験（Experience）

Itインフラ、システム管理、またはネットワークエンジニアリングに関連する職務経験が5年以上あること。

・言語（Language）

英語および日本語のバイリンガルレベルの能力を有すること（読み書き・会話ともにビジネスレベル）。

・Linuxの専門知識（Linux Expertise）

Linux環境の管理に関する豊富な経験を有すること。これには、システム構築、展開（デプロイ）、ソフトウェア管理、レポーティングが含まれます。

・Aws

EC2、VPC、IAM、CloudWatch、およびAWSストレージサービスの実務経験を有すること。

ネットワーク（Networking）

Tcp/Ip、Dns、Dhcp、Vpn、ファイアウォール、およびネットワークスイッチ管理に関する確かな知識を有すること。

・仮想化技術（Virtualization）

Proxmox VE、または同等のハイパーバイザープラットフォームを用いた実務経験を有すること。

・スクリプト作成（Scripting）

自動化や運用ツール開発のためのBashおよび／またはPythonのスキルを有すること。

・高度な自動化（Advanced Automation）

Terraformを活用したInfrastructure as Code（IaC）によるインフラ構築・管理や、Ansibleを用いた高度な構成管理に関する豊富な経験。

・コンテナ技術（Containerization）

Docker、コンテナプラットフォーム、またはKubernetesを活用し、インフラサービスを支える環境での利用経験。

・SRE（Site Reliability Engineering）の実践経験

Sli（サービスレベル指標）、Slo（サービスレベル目標）、エラーバジェット、キャパシティプランニング、信頼性指標など、SREの概念に関する実践的な理解。

・AIインフラ（AI Infrastructure）

AI/機械学習（ML）ワークロードの運用支援、Gpuパススルー環境の構築・運用、またはローカルLlm（大規模言語モデル）環境の導入・管理経験。

クラウド認定資格（Cloud Certifications）

AWS認定資格（Solutions Architect、SysOps Administrator、または同等資格）を保有していること。

・リーダーシップ（Leadership）

技術リーダーとしての経験、メンバー育成・メンタリング経験、またはオンコール対応の調整・管理経験。
