We have a brilliant opportunity for a confident and focussed Category Buyer, who is eager to take on a new challenge working within our Procurement team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive and delivery of best ‘Total Cost of Acquisition.’
- Achieve year on year cost reduction based on predetermined KPIs.
- Develop and implement top level commodity strategies
- Work closely with current an new supply chains driving and delivering key strategic projects
- Sourcing and approval of new suppliers
- Work closely with Willerby’s Supplier Quality Team in the development and implementation of new products
- Work with supply partners to achieve Lean Manufacturing
- Work with key internal stakeholders to bring about improvements
- Conduct supplier and commodity risk assessments, developing robust contingency plans
- Assisting the relevant parties in the resolution of supply chain problems.
