Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Part-Time

Shifts: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Every other weekend required

We are seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our Louisa team. If you enjoy helping others and want to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents’ dignity and independence while following individualized care plans.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and respectful support.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions or needs to the nursing team or supervisor.
- Document resident care accurately and promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members.
- Work with the care team to provide consistent, compassionate support.
Qualifications
- Completion of applicable personal care training requirements.
- Previous caregiving, assisted living, or senior care experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and work effectively with a team.
- Compassion, patience, and an understanding of residents’ needs.
- Dependability and availability to work every other weekend
- Shift:
- Part-time opportunities are available for either:
- Evening shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- Overnight shift: 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Both shifts require working every other weekend.
