Project Manager

Role and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) watermain rehabilitation projects within defined deadlines, specifications, and budget. This role requires close coordination with operations, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Key responsibilities include:
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and client requirements specific to CIPP lining, watermain rehabilitation.
• Direct and manage project development from mobilization through to demobilization.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and compliance requirements in collaboration with senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and critical path items specific to trenchless rehabilitation work.
• Proactively address changes in project scope, unforeseen site conditions, or utility conflicts, and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver timely progress reports, project documentation, and status updates to internal teams and clients.
• Liaise with municipal inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all work complies with Ontario Health & Safety legislation, company safety policies, and industry best practices (e.g., confined space entry, hot water/steam cure, chemical handling).
• Conduct project close-out meetings and lessons-learned reviews to improve future execution.
