Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital is a 123-bed, not-for-profit acute-care hospital serving Newport News and the surrounding communities in the Virginia Peninsula and Hampton Roads area. It is the most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula.

• Schedule: 50-hour work week. 5-10's Monday-Friday and done by 5PM. No Call No Weekends
• Diverse and challenging case mix includes Ortho, General, Endo, Urology
• Cysto, L&D, Ophthalmology, GYN, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Thoracic, Radiology, Vascular, Plastics, Pain

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
