Accounting Intern

Job Summary

The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate finance environment. This internship offers exposure to month-end close activities, fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure processes, lease accounting, financial reporting, and business process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• ·         Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• ·         Assist with account reconciliations and research variances
• ·         Support fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting processes
• ·         Support lease administration and documentation maintenance
• ·         Compile supporting documentation for audits and financial reporting
• ·         Assist with financial reporting and SEC filing support
• ·         Prepare analyses and reports using Excel and ERP systems
• ·         Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• ·         Collaborate with accounting professionals across various functions to support business objectives

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in Accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail
