About Kami

Kami is a thriving organisation filled to the brim with talented, creative, and passionate people! It's hard not to love what you do when our leading digital classroom platform offers meaningful solutions to over 70 million users worldwide, empowering students and supporting teachers!

You'll be joining at a pretty magical time. Kami's user base is growing by the day. With over 170 team members across the world, we couldn't be prouder of the accomplishments and milestones we've achieved to date. Now, this is your chance to join our team and become an integral member of Kami's growth, while shaping your own future (and having fun doing it)!

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager, Digital/Web to own Kami's digital performance end to end. That means the website as a growth product, SEO and AEO, conversion rate optimisation, paid media and the tracking that ties it all together.

Reporting to the Head of Digital & Growth Marketing, you'll keep our always-on channels performing while leading the website through a major platform migration. Great traffic means nothing if the site doesn't convert. That's the problem you'll own.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, based in our fully renovated Auckland office. We work hybrid: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the office, Tuesdays and Thursdays from home.

What You'll Do

  • Own the website
  • Assist with website vision and roadmap across Kami, Kami Companion, Book Creator and Kami Coach
  • Own day-to-day website management: build, update and publish pages, landing pages and navigation in the CMS
  • Keep the site accurate and current, including product, pricing and promotional updates, broken links, forms and redirects
  • Build pages from the module library and templates, and own internal linking across the site
  • Own site architecture, page templates and QA before anything goes live
  • Run website governance: the request intake process, publishing standards, change logs and incident response when something breaks
  • Lead the website migration
  • Drive the WordPress to HubSpot CMS migration and the consolidation of bookcreator.com into kamiapp.com
  • Work with our web development agency on module builds, templates, redirect mapping and launch QA
  • Build and publish migrated pages in HubSpot CMS, and train content and campaign teams to publish within agreed guardrails after launch
  • Protect organic traffic through the transition with your SEO partner, then manage post-launch hypercare
  • SEO and organic growth
  • Own organic performance, with non-branded organic clicks as the north-star metric
  • Act as the technical SEO sign-off before content goes live, covering keyword placement, URL structure, cannibalisation checks and CTA alignment
  • Structure content and pages so AI answer engines cite Kami, not just search engines (AEO/GEO)
  • Manage our SEO consultant and the Ahrefs and Google Search Console stack
  • Paid and channel performance
  • Lead paid strategy, channel mix and budget across paid acquisition channels
  • Brief and manage our paid media agency on execution, and run campaigns in-house when it's the faster or better call
  • Analyse and optimise performance across paid search, paid social and programmatic, from spend through to pipelin
  • Make sure landing pages, tracking and conversion paths support every campaign
  • CRO and experimentation
  • Turn our CRO experiment tracker into a standing practice: an ICE-scored backlog, clear hypotheses and a regular test cadence
  • Optimise high-intent pages, including demo request, chat to sales, pricing and product landing pages
  • Kill losing tests fast, turn wins into repeatable playbooks, and make bigger bets with a clear downside limit
  • Explore personalisation and localisation as HubSpot CMS makes them possible
  • Measurement
  • Own website tracking and form performance in GA4, Google Tag Manager and HubSpot
  • Build and maintain conversion dashboards connecting GA4 and HubSpot
  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations for marketing and leadership
  • How We'll Measure Success
  • Product signups (primary) and inbound MQLs (secondary)
  • Non-branded organic clicks as the organic north star
  • Cost per lead and conversion rate across paid and owned channels
  • Pipeline from paid and organic entry
  • Website requests delivered to agreed turnaround, with no broken pages or forms reaching production
  • What You'll Bring
  • 4+ years in growth, performance or website marketing roles, ideally B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on CMS publishing experience: you've built, updated and maintained a live marketing site yourself, not just briefed others. HubSpot CMS strongly preferred; WordPress also valued.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for page fixes and module tweaks without waiting on a developer
  • Has led or played a major role in a website migration or replatform, including redirect strategy
  • Strong technical SEO: site architecture, crawlability, Core Web Vitals and structured data
  • Hands-on experience running paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta, with budget ownership and a record of improving cost per lead or pipeline efficiency
  • Experience working alongside a paid media agency, knowing when to delegate and when to take the controls
  • A track record of running CRO experiments and showing measurable conversion lift
  • Proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and Ahrefs (or Semrush)
  • Uses AI tools daily for research, analysis, prototyping and workflow automation
  • Experience managing agencies and contractors to scope, budget and deadline
  • Comfortable being the person who says "not yet" when a page isn't ready to ship
  • Clear communicator who can explain data to non-technical stakeholders
