Position Summary

At Upchurch Services, the Service In-Plant Industrial Electrician

• Food Production is not only a maintenance professional but a trusted partner responsible for protecting the customer's production capability, supporting food safety objectives, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility assets.

Key Responsibilities

• · Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems supporting food production operations.
• · Serve as a dedicated onsite resource within a customer facility, ensuring reliable installation and repair of electrical systems hardware, safety, and regulatory compliance.

· Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motor controls, power distribution systems, PLC-based controls, instrumentation, and facility electrical infrastructure.

• · Apply diagnostic abilities, electrical safety expertise, and a customer-focused approach to facility support.
• · Represent Upchurch Services through professional communication with the Foreman and customer maintenance, operations, engineering, quality assurance, and safety personnel.

Qualifications

• · Technical school, trade school, apprenticeship, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• · Experience in food processing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or industrial facilities strongly preferred.
• · Licenses and Certifications:
• » Journeyman Electrician License/LLE

» Osha 10 Or Osha 30

» NFPA 70E Training

» Industrial Maintenance Certifications
