Spring Oak Tri-Cities is seeking a dependable Cook to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for our assisted living and memory care residents. Guided by our motto, “Welcome to the Family,” we create a warm, supportive environment where residents and team members feel valued.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and portion guidelines.
- Follow residents’ dietary needs, special diets, and food texture requirements as directed.
- Assist with menu planning and communicate necessary substitutions or adjustments to the supervisor.
- Monitor food and supply levels, identify ordering needs, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow proper food handling, labeling, dating, and storage procedures.
- Ensure meals are served at appropriate temperatures and presented attractively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow sanitation and food safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the dining and resident care teams to provide a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred, especially in senior living, healthcare, or food service.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
- Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
- Strong organization, time management, and teamwork skills.
- A dependable, respectful approach to working with residents and team members.
- Availability to work either listed shift and every other weekend.
