Most short-form editors are trapped in volume mills—churning out 50+ generic clips a day with zero creative input, and burning out in 3 months. • Edit short-form reels and podcast clips from raw creator content and interviews, identifying scroll-stopping moments that resonate with target audiences
• Analyze trends in creator niches and propose fresh reel concepts tailored to each model's brand and personality
• Ensure platform compliance (proper framing, audio, age-appropriate content)
• Collaborate with creative team to refine edits based on feedback and achieve viral impact REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrated short-form editing skill with a portfolio of approved, published Instagram/TikTok reels showing strong engagement and aesthetic quality (range and coachability weigh more than exact years)
• Strong English (required) — the key language for communication and storytelling; we edit increasingly vlog-style content where English fluency directly shapes the edit. Spanish is a plus, not required.
• Expert-level proficiency in CapCut — experience with DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro highly valued; must work on macOS (demonstrates commitment to professional-grade workflow and quality standards)
• Can identify viral moments and execute polished, well-paced edits with strong hooks, clean captions, and purposeful text
• Demonstrates creative ownership and aesthetic vision, plus openness to feedback and direction WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 30 days:
• Daily output ramping toward ~20–25/day with 80%+ first-draft approval rate
• Edits demonstrate understanding of brand voice and platform trends
• Suggests 1+ format ideas per week 60 days:
• Editing speed improves while maintaining quality standards - 85%+ first-draft approval rate
• Contributes 2+ trending format ideas per week 90 days: - 90%+ first-draft approval rate (high proficiency across reel and podcast production)
• Creates 1 original format used 5+ times by team across multiple creators
