Here's the problem we're obsessed with: when you want to do something in your free time, you open TikTok or you ask ChatGPT and both send you to the exact same place as everyone else. The same viral pasta spot, the same rooftop, the same top-10 list. The algorithm flattens a whole city into five places and funnels everyone into them.
But there's no single Milan! There are as many as there are pairs of eyes looking at it, and yours looks nothing like the top-10 everyone else gets fed. Hic finds your version of the city and lets you live it in one tap. We're live in Milan, Florence, Berlin, London, Madrid, and Zurich.
Our content fights the same fight: not "5 things to do in Milan" (that's the enemy), but the specific, the hidden, the strange. Restaurants worth crossing town for, museums that aren't boring, bars, corners, and the stories nobody told you. The stuff that makes someone feel like the city was built for them. That's what you'd be making.
Role Description
We don't want to hand you a template. We want someone to own our TikTok voice and run with it: your ideas, your style, your hooks. You'll have the creative freedom to make people fall in love with Hic, however you see it, working hand in hand with the founder. You'd make around 4 short videos a week, with room to grow: shoot Milan on the ground, and edit footage for the other cities. This is paid freelance, project-based to start, part-time. A young app whose whole voice you get to shape.
The only rule: it's about real places people can actually go. What it's not: a corporate content job or an unpaid "exposure" gig.
Qualifications
- You are original: (you bring ideas, you've got taste and a point of view).
- You live on TikTok and it shows (you get hooks and retention in your bones).
- You have an account that actually posts.
- Fast in CapCut (or whatever gets it done).
- Based in Milan, and you can go shoot on location.
- You own the creative, but you're happy to shape strategy together with the team.
